Zinkglobal is a three meter tall, 2.5 ton metal outdoor sculpture is displayed at Nordre Toldbod, Copenhagen, Denmark along the harbour.
It was created by Kim Michael who refers to himself as TheZinker.
Copenhagen is filled with beautiful and historic sculptures plus an occasional modern and humorous one like Zinkglobal.
Apparently it is a parody of the 1904 bronze statue “The Thinker” by Auguste Rodine.
This contemplative figure of a man is constructed with scrap metal. It sits on top of a metallic “The Key to the Future.”
